HR Generalist
Human Resources Generalist. Robert half is currently working with a global financial service organization to add a Human Resource generalist to their growing HR department. They have been in business for 30 years and have been making a significant impact to the market. They have over thousands of employees across the US and European Markets. This role will sit in their corporate headquarters just outside of Hartford. They offer a casual, friendly work environment in a team atmosphere. In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of HR related duties and working closely with the senior HR management team to stay in compliance with state and company specific requirements. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, and performance management, onboarding along with processing terminations, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance. The HR Generalist also administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel and participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. An as HR Generalist you may be responsible for generating reports to track employee data, departmental needs and management goals. The HR Generalist must have a strong understanding of Employment laws and policy and procedures. The HR Generalist will also work within HRIS systems on a daily basis. The ideal Human Resources Generalist will have five or more years of experience, have excellent organizational skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel. A Bachelor's Degree is required for the position, and ideally someone pursuing or having their PHR certification is a plus. They are offering a competitive salary ranging from $55,000-$65,000 depending on experience and outstanding benefits!
