The Enterprise Capacity & Materials Planning Strategy (ECMPS) team within Pratt & Whitney is a rapidly growing organization established to assess the demand and output capacity of the entire P&W operations and supply chain network **.** Major functions of the ECMPS organization are Demand & Management, Network Capacity, Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP), and Master Scheduling.

The Enterprise Capacity Materials Planning & Strategy (ECMPS) organization is looking for an analytical individual to execute materials planning processes across multiple Value Streams with a focus on internal shop execution. The candidate is customer-focused and motivated to work in a dynamic and highly interactive work environment that connects the P&W value stream.

The Materials Planning Specialist is a key role within the Value Stream that maintains systems to ensure schedule accuracy and enable schedule stability. Responsibilities include:

oExecute Materials processes supporting Shop Delivery and Scheduling as well as Inventory control including:

oschedule management

oinventory management

oevaluate capacity, machine/tooling downtime, etc.

oinventory input control

olead time management through lead time breaks

oInventory buffering

oconversion of planned orders to production orders

oengineering change incorporation

otakted deliveries

Execute the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) (system planning parameters, physical part parameters, takted delivery expectations) and adherence to material replenishment expectations, including existing MMAS & ECMPS policies and procedures.

oExecute timely and accurate implementation of material master changes.

oExecute takted material plans to support detailed production schedules and maintain inventory control

oSupport inventory initiative teams focused on the improvement of inventory management processes.

oSupport annual MMAS audits; ensure monthly compliance requirements

oCo-lead, or support various strategic initiatives associated with material planning processes & systems


**Qualification:** Other qualifications include the ability to demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and communication skills; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; SAP experience and APICS certification preferred.
